Amber Sparks: Fiction Reading

Amber Sparks is the author of the chapbook A Great Dark Sleep: Stories for the Next World and the forthcoming, highly-anticipated debut collection May We Shed These Human Bodies, to be released in September 2012 by Curbside Splendor Press. Her short fiction has appeared in dozens of literary journals, including Pank, Necessary Fiction, Barrelhouse Online, The Collagist, and Smokelong Quarterly, and has earned her recognition from StorySouth's Millions Writers Award and Wigleaf's Top 50 Very Short Fictions. "I always love a book that makes me fear for the writer's sanity. I'm over here praying for Amber Sparks." -- Ben Loory, author of Stories for Nighttime and Some for the Day
