Celebrating 40 Years of Title IX

Join the Womens Center and Department of Intercollegiate Athletics in celebrating the 40th anniversary of Title IX, the landmark federal legislation prohibiting sex discrimination in education programs and activities that receive federal financial assistance. To honor this important milestone, Nancy Hogshead-Makar, three-time Olympic gold medalist in swimming and currently Professor of Law at Florida Coastal School of Law and Senior Director of Advocacy for the Womens Sports Foundation, will speak on The Personal, Political and Practical of Title IX.
