Secularism Unveiled: Mapping Religious Freedom in France and the US
Though France and the United States share a common revolutionary heritage grounded in the secular Enlightenment, their historical experience and constitutional response to religious freedom and religious expression diverge significantly. This talk explores the historical and philosophical roots of these differences, in light of recent controversies in the international news.

Metered parking is free after 5pm. For daytime events, if you park in the municipal lot (entrance on Third Street) we'll stamp your garage ticket for TWO HOURS FREE PARKING to attend any MUHD event.

After you park, take the elevator to the bottom level, cross the street, and use the brick walkway between the buildings, which will bring you out to High Street. Downtown is across the street, slightly to the left.
