Transformation Through Art
"Transformation Through Art" is a creative arts instruction program for consumers of mental health services. Participants' artwork will be showcased in a gallery-type art show with the dual goal of increasing confidence and self-esteem of this vulnerable population, while also educating the public about stereotypes and the stigma surrounding mental illness. Sponsored by Miami University Hamilton's Nursing students, the public is invited and refreshments will be served.
