Featured repertoire will include Miami premieres, works commissioned by the Wind Ensemble to include Wind by Chen Yi and a world premiere performance of Mare Tranquillitatis by Roger Zare. Additional pieces performed by the ensemble are Millennium Canons by Kevin Puts and two works commemorating the American West by Dan Welcher, Arches and Zion.
