As Mayor, Rogero is dedicated to promoting a vibrant community, strong neighborhoods, a high quality of life, a thriving downtown and a greener Knoxville. Three and a half years since the 2007-09 economic recession ended, Knoxville is one of only three major U.S. metropolitan areas experiencing an economic recovery, according to the Brookings Institution.
