JANUS Forum Lecture - "Is Democracy in America Working"

The Miami JANUS Forum is hosting the inaugural JANUS Forum lecture - a moderated civil discourse on an important topic that examines divergent positions and includes participation from two respected experts.

The question to be discussed is "Is Democracy in America Working?" Political Columnist Ezra Klein and former White House Press Secretary, Ari Fleischer, will provide their answers to this important question and then take questions from the audience. The event will be preceeded by moderated student discussions and followed by a reception with the speakers.

The Miami JANUS Forum is a student-run organization that is a central component of the Thomas W. Smith Project on Liberty, Democracy and Citizenship. The JANUS Forum will host two Forum lectures per year as well as several related debate and discussion style events.
