Miami University is honored to have John Dolibois, Miami ???42, return to campus to share his experiences as an intelligence officer during the Nuremberg War Trials.
Dolibois is recognized at Miami for his long and
continuous service in development and alumni affairs as well as for aiding in the formation of the European Study Center in Luxembourg. Dolibois emigrated from Luxembourg at the age of 13 only to find himself back in his birthplace during WWII as an interrogator with the U.S. Army. Upon his
retirement from Miami University he was appointed by President Ronald Reagan and served four years as Ambassador to Luxembourg. Dolibois is the sole surviving
interrogator of some of the highest ranked Nazi war criminals including Herman Goering, Julius Streicher and Rudolf Hess. He speaks candidly about his experience bringing numerous issues to light. ???Recollections of an Interrogator??? serves to open our exploration of ???The Courage to Act??? - the Genocide and Holocaust Education Program, April 3-7, 2013.
