Art Songs of Post-Soviet Composers
Miami students will perform songs written by living composers from Post Soviet Countries.
Composers include Galina Gorelova of Belarus, Arkady Luxemburg of Moldova, Marina Shmotova of Irkutsk, Siberia, Janus Porietis of Latvia, and Valentyn Sylvestrov of Ukraine.
The students were coached and prepared on their Latvian, Moldovan, and Russian by Christina Haan of OSU and Anna Margulis of the Moscow Conservatory.
