Channel Subscription: iCalendar
The iCalendar standard (an evolution of the vCalendar standard) defines a mechanism for applications to exchange information about time based events. Many desktop computer applications support either importing or subscribing to event lists published in the iCalendar format.
Usage Tips
Clicking the subscription URL will download an iCalendar file to your computer. If configured to do so, your browser will then attempt to open the file in a default application.
Normally, this will only add the selected events to your calendar. However, if you have an application, such as Apple's iCal, which supports iCalendar subscriptions, you may subscribe using the URL, enabling you to stay current with events on the channel. Contact the vendor or refer to the on-line help if you are unsure of subscribing to iCalendar sites in your calendar application.
If you want to subscribe to an event channel, you should copy the URL (right mouse click and choose the copy option). Go to the calendar appilication you will be using and choose the option to create a subscription (refer to the application's help system) and paste in the URL to subscribe to.
When subscribing, we ask that you refresh no more once a day. Refreshing too frequently may result in increased traffic to our servers limit our ability to provide effective service.
